Traffic Shift To Effect I-91 Southbound Ramp (Exit 1) to Route 34 Westbound in New Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that I-91 Southbound (Exit 1) ramp lanes to Route 34 Westbound to be shifted to the right beginning Friday, June 4, 2010 to allow for continued construction of the Route 34 flyover in New Haven.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
DOT Project No. 92-619, known as Contract E2, was awarded on September 17, 2008 to The Walsh Construction Co. of Sharon, Massachusetts at a cost of $91,397,352. Construction began on October 22, 2008 and is scheduled for completion November 30, 2011.
