Alternating One-Way Traffic on Route 1 at The Mystic River Bridge in Mystic, CT to Begin Wednesday, January 4, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that alternating one-way traffic will be maintained across the Mystic River Bridge for the rehabilitation project from Wednesday, January 4, 2012 until approximately April 15, 2012.
Traffic signals, concrete barrier curb, traffic drums, and other devices will be used to safely guide motorists through the work zone.
Activities include jacking and temporary support of the counterweights, structural steel repairs, and the replacement of the mechanical system of the bridge.
