Alternating One-Way Traffic on Route 1 at the Mystic River Bridge in Mystic to Begin Friday, January 7, 2011
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that alternating one-way traffic will be maintained across the Mystic River Bridge for the rehabilitation project from Friday, January 7, 2011 until approximately April 15, 2011.
Traffic signals, concrete barrier curb, traffic drums, and other devices will be used to safely guide motorists through the work zone.
Activities include blast cleaning and painting of the structure, structural steel repairs, and the replacement of the electrical and mechanical systems of the bridge.
