Bridge Maintenance on Route 15 Southbound in North Haven and Hamden (between Exits 64 and 60 - various bridges)

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project on Route 15 Southbound between Exits 64 (Quinnipiac Street) and 60 (Route 10) in North Haven and Hamden is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2011 through Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings). The project will commence in North Haven on the bridge over Toelles Road between Exits 64 and 63 (June 7 and 8^th evenings), and then progress to the bridges over Mill River, Dixwell Avenue, and Whitney Avenue between Exits 62 and 60 in Hamden.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
