Bridge Repair Project on Route 109 (eastbound) over Mallary Brook in Washington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge repair project will be performed on Route 109 (eastbound) over Mallary Brook in Washington. The eastbound lane will be closed for the duration of the project and there will be alternating one way traffic until the project is complete. This project is ongoing and is scheduled to continue through Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is twenty-four hours a day until complete.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
