LED Lamp Replacements at Various Traffic Control Signals in Eastern Connecticut
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that plans are in development to replace LED lamps at the end of their serviceable life at approximately 800 state-owned traffic control signals located at state road intersections in towns in eastern Connecticut.
It is the Department’s policy to keep the public informed and involved when such projects are undertaken and it is important that the community share its concerns with us to assist in the project’s development. If there is adequate interest, an information meeting will be conducted. At this time, it is not anticipated that a formal public hearing will be necessary.
The project is currently scheduled to be advertised November 02, 2011. The project will be funded with 80% federal funds, and 20% state funds.
Anyone interested in requesting information on this project may do so by contacting Ms. Lisa Conroy, Project Manager at (860) 594-2985. Please make reference to Project No. 170-3084.
