Limited lane Closures Scheduled for Route 184 and Route 12 in Groton due to a Bridge Maintenance Project on three I-95 overpasses

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that limited lane closures will be required on Route 184 and Route 12 in Groton due to a Bridge Maintenance project being performed on three I-95 overpasses. The project is scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2011 through Friday, August 12, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday). Work will not be performed on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
