Milling and Resurfacing on Route 198 (Black Pond Road) in Woodstock
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 198 (Black Pond Road) between Route 171 (Eastford Road) and just north of Route 197 (Red White School Road) in Woodstock. This project is expected to occur Wednesday, September 14, 2011 to Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
