Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 154 (Main Street) in Old Saybrook

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 154 (Main Street) in Old Saybrook between the Senior Center driveway and Coulter Street. This project is expected to occur Thursday, September 15, 2011 and Friday, September 16, 2011.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Thursday and Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
