Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 171 (Union/Bigelow Hollow Road) in Eastford and Woodstock
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 171 (Union/Bigelow Hollow Road) between the Union/Eastford Town Line and Kenyonville Road in Woodstock. This project is expected to occur Monday, September 12, 2011 to Friday, September 23, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
