Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 219 in New Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 219 in New Hartford between Hoppen Road and Route 44. This project is expected to occur Wednesday, June 15, 2011 to Tuesday, July 19, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday). The resurfacing segment of this project is not expected to resume until Monday, July 11, 2011.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
