Resurfacing Project in Vernon, I-84 Westbound, Schedule Extended
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the resurfacing project occurring on I-84 Westbound in Vernon between Exits 67 and 66 (including ramps) has been extended to Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Thursday evenings). No work will be performed during the Memorial Holiday period (Friday - Monday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
