Resurfacing Project on I-84 (East and Westbound) in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that resurfacing will be performed on I-84 in East Hartford. Motorists can expect lane closures Eastbound between Exit 58 (Robert Street) and Exit 59 (I-384) and Westbound between Exit 58 and Exit 57 (Route 15 South). This work is expected to occur on Thursday, October 20, 2011 to the morning of Saturday, October 22, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Thursday) and 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
