Work Schedule Extended for Bridge Maintenance on Route 40 (Northbound) in North Haven on the CSX Railroad and Quinnipiac River Bridge
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the ongoing bridge maintenance being performed on the CSX Railroad and Quinnipiac River Bridge in North Haven on Route 40 (Northbound) in the vicinity of Exit 1 (I-91) will continue to Friday, August 26, 2011.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
