Bridge Maintenance, I-684 North and Southbound in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance operation will be performed on I-684 North and Southbound in Greenwich.
The work consists of bridge rail repairs on the two bridges located on I-684 over Tamarack Swamp (North & Southbound bridges). Motorists can expect lane closures to occur between Exit 2 and Exit 3. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, July 16, 2012 to Friday, July 27, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
