Bridge Maintenance, I-95 Northbound & Southbound in Norwalk
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance operation will be performed on I-95 Northbound & Southbound in Norwalk.
The bridge maintenance work being performed is an asphalt plug joint repair on the I-95 Northbound & Southbound bridge over Crescent Street and Metro North Railroad in Norwalk. Motorists can expect lane closures to occur between Exit 13 (Route 1) and Exit 16 (East Avenue) on the evening of Tuesday, June 5, 2012 to the morning of Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Weeknights). No work will be performed on Friday evening.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
