Milling and Resurfacing on Route 80 in Killingworth
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 80 in Killingworth.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a two and three quarter mile segment of Route 80 (North Branford Road) between the Madison Town Line and Route 81 (Clinton Road). This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, August 9, 2012, to Thursday, August 23, 2012.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2012 roadway milling and resurfacing program.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
