Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 47 in Roxbury/Washington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 47 (Woodbury Road) in Roxbury and Washington.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.30 mile segment of Route 47 (Woodbury Road) from the Woodbury Town Line in Roxbury to Route 199 (Roxbury Road) in Washington. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, May 30, 2012 to Monday, June 11, 2012.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained while work is being performed.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
