Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 6 in Woodbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 6 in Woodbury.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.75 mile segment of Route 6 (North Main Street) between Route 47 and the Watertown Town Line. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, July 2, 2012 to Friday, July 20, 2012.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2012 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained while the work is being performed. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday- Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
