Nighttime Closure and Detour of the Route 34 EB ramp to I-95 NB in New Haven is scheduled to occur Monday night, June 4, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime closure and detour of the Route 34 EB ramp to I-95 NB in New Haven is scheduled to occur Monday night, June 4th from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure and detour of the ramp is necessary to facilitate bridge construction.
Motorists traveling Route 34 EB to I-95 NB will be detoured to I-95 SB and Exit 45 (Ella Grasso Boulevard), where they will be directed back to I-95 NB. Signs will be posted to assist motorists.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled for Tuesday, June 5 if necessary.
The work in Contract B is part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program and includes the construction of the new Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge.
