Nighttime Closure and Detour of the Trumbull Street On-Ramp to I-91 North and South and the State Street On-Ramp to I-91 North in New Haven is scheduled to occur Monday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 20, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime closure and detour of the Trumbull Street On-Ramp to I-91 North and South and the State Street On-Ramp to I-91 North in New Haven is scheduled to occur Monday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 20, between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM. Closure and detour of the ramp is necessary to facilitate roadway improvements.
Motorists will be detoured to I-91 North and South via Trumbull Street, State Street, East Street, Grand Avenue, James Street, Lombard Street, Blatchley Street, and Willow Street. Signs will be posted to assist motorists.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
The work in Contract E is part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program and includes the reconstruction of the I-95/I-91/Route 34 Interchange. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2016 which finalizes the I-95 Improvement Program and its 7.2 miles of operational, safety and capacity improvements.
