Pavement Preservation Project on I-395 in the Towns of Griswold and Plainfield is Scheduled to Begin on Sunday, July 1, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project on I-395 in the towns of Griswold and Plainfield will begin on Sunday, July 1, 2012.
The project consists mainly of milling and replacing 3 inches of asphalt travel surface on I-395 from MP 24.01 to 35.13 (Northbound and Southbound) in the towns of Griswold and Plainfield. The project limit is from exit 86 (Route 201) to exit 90 (Route 695).
DOT Project No. 057-0117 was awarded to American Industries, Inc. at a cost of $8,000,000.00 on May 18, 2012 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2012.
LANE CLOSURE INFO - Traffic on I-395 northbound will be impacted Mon thru Fri from 9 am to 7am. Traffic on I-395 southbound will be impacted Mon thru Thurs from 5 pm to 3 pm, and Friday from 6pm to 3 pm. Ramps and all other roads will be impacted Mon-Fri from 9 am to 3 pm, 6pm to 6am. Saturday and Sunday will be impacted 6pm to 10am.
