The project involves the replacement of the existing expansion joint systems and includes some concrete header repairs on twelve bridges. The location of the bridges are as follows:

Monday – Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
I-84 east and west over the Hockanum River in Manchester (Site 9)
Monday – Thursday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.
I-91 North in Hartford (Site 12)
Monday – Friday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Special advisory (Site 12) - Weekend work April 13, 2012 from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday with work to be completed the weekend of April 29, 2012. The work will require reducing I-91 northbound traffic to one lane. Additional information will be provided two weeks prior to weekend work at this site.
DOT Project No 0171-0351 was awarded to Arborio Corporation of Cromwell, CT on January 27, 2012, at a cost of $1,529,995.00 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2012.
