Resurfacing of I-95 North and Southbound in West Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on the I-95 North and Southbound in West Haven.
The project consists of spot milling and a thin surface treatment of a half-mile segment of I-95 North and Southbound in West Haven beginning near Stevens Avenue to just north of the Campbell Avenue Overpass. An additional quarter-mile segment of I-95 Northbound will be resurfaced beginning near the Metro North Railroad Overpass to the West River. Motorists can expect lane closures to occur North and Southbound between Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Road) and Exit 44 (Kimberly Avenue). This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Tuesday, October 23, 2012 to the morning of Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
