The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on I-84 Westbound in Vernon, South Windsor and Manchester. 

The project consists of a thin surface treatment of a 4.25 mile segment of I-84 Westbound between Exit 66 in Vernon and Exit 60 in Manchester. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Sunday, October 7, 2012 to the morning of Friday, October 12, 2012.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
