Revised: Ramp Closures Scheduled for Route 15 South in Trumbull on July 10, July 11, and July 12, 2012, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The Connecticut Department of Transportations is announcing nighttime ramp closures to allow for paving of ramps. On Tuesday, July 10, the Route 25 Southbound Exit 8 ramp to Route 15 south (Exit 49 on-ramp) will be closed and on Wednesday and Thursday, July 11 and 12, the Route 15 south off ramp to Route 111 (Exit 48) will be closed. The closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, weather permitting.
-Route 15 south to Route 111 (Exit 48): Take the Exit 47 (Park Avenue) Off-Ramp. At the end of the ramp make a left onto Park Avenue, travel 0.1 miles and turn left onto the Route 15 north on ramp. Continue north on Route 15 to Exit 48.
-Route 25 south Exit 8 to Route 15 south (Exit 49 on-ramp): Traveling on Route 25 SB Exit 8 Off goes to the Merritt Parkway Northbound and Southbound, Stay left onto the Northbound Merritt Parkway, Get off Exit 51 and at the end of the ramp turn left onto Nichols Avenue. After 0.1 Miles turn left onto the Merritt Parkway Southbound.
-Route 25 north Exit 7 to Route 15 south (Exit 49 on-ramp) and Route 127:Get off at Exit 7 and follow signs to Route 127 White Plains Road (stay right), Make a right onto Route 127 (White Plains Road). Follow Route 127 and turn left onto the Route 15 On-Ramp to the Merritt Parkway Northbound. Get off Exit 51 and at the end of the ramp turn left onto Nichols Avenue. After 0.1 Mile turn left onto the Merritt Parkway Southbound.
The work is part of DOT Project Nos. 0050-204/206 and 144-178/180, an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project which is scheduled for completion in October 2012.
