Route 15 Ramp Closures Scheduled at Interchanges 48, 49 and 50 in Trumbull Week of July 16, 2012, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The Connecticut Department of Transportations is announcing nighttime ramp closures to allow for paving sections of the Route 15 northbound exit and entrance ramps at interchanges 48 – 50 in Trumbull. The closures will occur the week of July 16-18, 2012 from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
RAMP CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFO- Pre-warning of ramp closures will be displayed on changeable message boards and detour signs will be in place to assist motorists.
(Interchange 48) Route 111 On-Ramp to Route 15 North
Detour Info: Take on-ramp to Route 15 South to Exit 47 (Park Avenue) and at the end of the ramp make a left onto Park Avenue. Travel 0.1 miles and turn left onto the on ramp for Route 15 north.
(Interchange 49- Exit 49S and 49N) Route 15 North Off-Ramp to Route 25 North and South
Exit 49S Detour Info: Follow Route 15 North to Exit 51 (Route 108, Nichols Avenue) and at the end of the ramp turn right onto Route 108. Continue south on Route 108 to on ramp for Route 8 South. Follow Route 8 South which turns into Route 25/8 South.
Exit 49N Detour Info: Follow Route 15 North to Exit 51 (Route 108, Nichols Avenue) and at the end of the ramp turn left onto Route 108. Travel 0.1 Miles to on ramp for Route 15 South and go to Exit 49 for Route 25 North.
(Interchange 50) Route 127, White Plains Road to Route 15 North
Detour Info: Route 127 southerly to Old Town Road. Turn right onto Old Town Road and follow to on ramp for Route 25 North.
The work is part of DOT Project Nos. 0050-204/206 and 144-178/180, an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project which is scheduled for completion in October 2012
