The Madison Avenue Bridge Overpass on Route 15 in the Town of Trumbull is Scheduled to be Closed for Bridge Deck Repairs Beginning July 9, 2012, through August 3, 2012
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the closure of the Madison Avenue Bridge overpass on Route 15 in Trumbull to facilitate repairs to the bridge deck. This closure is scheduled to occur starting the morning of Monday, July 9, 2012, and continue through the evening of Friday, August 3, 2012.
The work is part of DOT Project Nos. 0050-204/206 and 144-178/180, an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act project which is scheduled for completion by October 2012.
DETOUR INFO – The Madison Avenue bridge will be closed to traffic starting on July 9, 2012. No Pedestrian access will be allowed during the bridge closure.
North of Bridge – Madison Avenue traffic will be detoured onto Chestnut Hill Road Main Street Old Town Road
South of Bridge – Madison Avenue traffic will be detoured onto Old Town Road Main Street Chestnut Road
Traffic control personnel and detour signs will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)
