Bridge Maintenance on I-684 Southbound in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-684 Southbound in Greenwich, July 8-26, 2013.
The project consists of bridge deck and concrete repairs to the I-684 Southbound Bridge over Tamarack Swamp in Greenwich. This project is scheduled to occur the morning of Monday, July 8, 2013 to the afternoon of Friday, July 26, 2013.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2013 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-684 Southbound between Exit 2 and Exit 3 in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
