Bridge Maintenance, Various Bridges in Killingly and New London
The bridge work consists of asphaltic plug joint installation on the bridges listed below. This work is scheduled to occur periodically Wednesday, May 29, 2013 to Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
New London: Route 32 North and South over Williams Street
Killingly: I-395 North and South over Route 6
Killingly: I-395 North and South over Whetstone Brook
Killingly: I-395 North and South over Route 12
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2013 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). Shoulder work may also occur between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No lane closures will occur during the July 4th Holiday period (Friday – Monday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
