Guiderail Repair on I-95 Southbound in Norwalk and Westport; Lane Closure Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail repairs will be performed on Interstate 95 Southbound in Norwalk and Westport on the morning of Sunday, September 15, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 Southbound between Exit 17 (Route 33, Saugatuck Avenue) and Exit 16 (East Avenue #1) in Norwalk and Westport.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Sunday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
