Milling and Resurfacing along Route 111 in Monroe; Lane Closures Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 1.54 mile stretch of Route 111 in Monroe, August 22-29, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 111 from the Masuk High School Drive to Bagburn Hill Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
