The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Westminster Road (Route 14) in Scotland and Canterbury beginning August 8, 2013.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 6.07 mile segment of Route 14 (Westminster Road) in Scotland and Canterbury. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, August 8, through Monday, August 26, 2013.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route14 (Westminster Road) between the east junction of Route 97 (Pudding Hill Road) in Scotland to Canterbury/Plainfield Town line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
