Milling and Resurfacing along Route 5 in South Windsor and East Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 5 in South Windsor and East Windsor, August 12-16, 2013.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.66 mile segment of Route 5 in South Windsor and East Windsor. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed Monday, August 12, to Friday, August 16, 2013.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 5 between Route 194 (Sullivan Avenue) north to the end of the divided highway in both the north and south bound directions. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday.)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
