Milling and Resurfacing on Route 44 in Mansfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 44 in Mansfield beginning August 12, 2013
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.82 mile segment of Route 44 in Mansfield. The milling segment of this project is scheduled to be performed on Thursday, August 8, 2013. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed Monday, August 12, 2013 to Friday, August 16, 2013.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 44 between Route 32 (Stafford Road) to .05 miles west of Birch Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday.)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
