Milling and Resurfacing project, Route 287 in Newington and Wethersfield
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a two and one-half mile segment of Route 287 in Newington and Wethersfield. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, May 20, 2013 to Friday, May 31, 2013.
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 287 between just west of the Newington/Wethersfield Town Line and Route 3 (Maple Street) in Wethersfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weekdays). No work will be performed during the Memorial Day Holiday (May 27, 2013).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
