Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 83 in Manchester
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 83 in Manchester. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a one mile segment of Route 83 in Manchester. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, May 8, 2013, to Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 83 between Shallowbrook Drive and Lakewood Circle South. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (weekdays).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
