Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-84 in Southington

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an ongoing nighttime bridge maintenance project on I-84 (eastbound & westbound) in Southington will be completed Friday, August 30, 2013.

      The project consists of repairing the bridge deck on Rte. 322 over I-84. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Tuesday, August 20, 2013 through the morning of Friday, August 30, 2013. This work is being performed by Mohawk Northeast.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
