Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-91 at Exit 33 in Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 (northbound & southbound) at Exit 33 in Hartford beginning Sunday evening, September 8, 2013.

The project consists of repairing the bridge joints I-91 North & Southbound in Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur September 8-27, 2013. This work is being performed by Costello Industries.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Traffic control personnel, State Police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday-Friday) and 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
