Nighttime Bridge Maintenance, Route 15 NB in New Canaan
The project consists of the removal of loose and hollow concrete to the Route 15 Bridge under Ponus Ridge Road in New Canaan. This project is scheduled to occur on the evening of Tuesday, December 3, 2013, to the morning of Wednesday, December 4, 2013, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists can
expect lane closures and periods of road closure between Exit 35 (Route 137,
High Ridge Road) to Exit 36 (Route 106, Old Stamford Road), on Route 15 NB. Traffic control personnel and signing
patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular
work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Tuesday Evening).
Motorists should be
aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary
due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe
speed when driving in this vicinity.
