      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and thin surface treatment project will be performed on a 2.45-mile segment of Route 2 eastbound and eastbound in East Hartford, August 11-22, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 2 Eastbound and Westbound between Darlin Street and the end of East River Drive (SR 502), (including ramps). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
