Nighttime Paving on Route 15 NB Exit 41 Ramps in Westport

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement project will be performed on the Merritt Parkway (northbound) Exit 41 Off and On Ramps in Westport overnight, Friday, November 8-9, 2013.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 15 NB Exit 41 (Route 33) Off and On Ramps in Westport and will require a detour to be implemented while work is being performed.  Motorists will use the following route during the detour:  Exit 42 Northbound to the On Ramp   Exit 42 Southbound to Exit 41 Southbound.

      Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Friday evening). 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
