Nighttime Paving Project along Route 8 Southbound in Seymour;

Lane Closures Required

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 8, in the town of Seymour the evening of Friday, August 16, 2013.

      This project is scheduled to occur overnight August 16-17 from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, from exit 19 to exit 15 southbound only. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

      Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 8, from exit 19 to exit 15, southbound only.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM – Friday, August 16, 2013. 

      Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
