Nighttime Resurfacing Project, Rt. 8 NB in Waterbury
The project consists of resurfacing a 4000’ segment of Rt. 8 NB in Waterbury. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, October 24, 2013, to Friday, October 25, 2013.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 8 NB in Waterbury from exit 35 to Waterbury/Watertown Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
