Traffic Loop Installation on Ramps for Route 9 in Middletown and Route 154
in Middletown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a traffic loop installation project will continue on the ramps for Route 9 in Middletown and Route 154 in Middletown (Aircraft Road) through August 21, 2013.
The Traffic loop installation project will be performed on a 2.68 mile segment of Route 9 in Middletown, and on a 1.08 mile segment of Route 154 in Middletown.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 155 at Route 9 (northbound) on and off ramps; Route 155 at Route 9 (southbound) on and off ramps; and Route 154 at SSR 410 (Aircraft Road) and Route 9 ramps and Saybrook Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (weekdays).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
