Tree Removal Will Require Lane Closures of Route 2, Eastbound, in Marlborough

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal operation will require lane closures of Route 2, eastbound, in Marlborough, July 8-16, 2013.

The tree removal operation will be performed in Marlborough and will require a portion of Route 2  eastbound to be closed on Monday, July 8, through Tuesday, July 16, 2013. 

This work will be performed by Northeastern Land Clearing.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

While work is being performed, the slow-speed right lane and shoulder on Route 2 eastbound will be closed between Exit 13 to Exit 16.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
