Tree Trimming along I-95 in Greenwich and Stamford – Saturday, August 17;
Lane Closures Required
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree trimming operation will be performed on Interstate 95 (northbound and southbound) in Greenwich and Stamford on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
The project consists of tree trimming around the incident management cameras will be performed on Interstate 95 (northbound and southbound) in Greenwich and Stamford.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 (northbound) between the New York State Line and Exit 6 (Grenhart Road) in Greenwich and Stamford. Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 95 (southbound) between Exit 2 (Louden Street) and the New York State Line in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Saturday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
