Work to Repair Mechanical and Electrical Systems at the Saugatuck River Bridge on Route 136 in Westport is Scheduled to Start on January 16, 2013
The project involves the replacement and repair of the mechanical and electrical systems to restore the structure to full operating status. The bridge sustained damage during hurricane Sandy.
DOT Project No. 158-210 was awarded to Cianbro Corporation of Bloomfield, CT on January 8, 2013 with an estimated cost of $550,000.00 and is scheduled to be completed on April 1, 2013.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic on Route 136 will be impacted periodically during the bridge repair work. Motorist can expect delays Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and on weekends.
