Milling and Resurfacing Project along Route 188 in Southbury, Oxford and Seymour
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 188 in Southbury, Oxford and Seymour, May 1-June 17, 2014.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 7.89 mile segment of Route 188. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed in Southbury, Oxford and Seymour on Monday, June 2, 2014.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2014 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 188 between Route 67 and Rt. 34. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
