The I-91 Southbound off-ramp to I-95 Northbound will be closed and detoured for long periods over the weekend of Friday, October 3 – Sunday, October 5, 2014. The Wooster Street on-ramp to I-95 Northbound will be closed and detoured for the entire weekend of Friday, October 3 – Sunday, October 5, 2014. For detour information and alternate routes, please visit www.i95newhaven.com. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues.
These construction activities are necessary to facilitate bridge construction as work progresses on the Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge, Reconstruction of the I-95 / I-91 / Route 34 Interchange, and other projects that are part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program.
